The race weekend in Muonio marks the first opportunity for the elite to compete on snow since the World Cup finals in mid-March. The schedule includes both sprint and distance events, featuring World Cup stars and elite athletes from various nations.

All the star-studded competitions from Muonio will be broadcast live and on demand on SC Play, which holds exclusive broadcasting rights in all countries except Finland (where the rights are non-exclusive).

This is How the Olympic Season Will Look

The race weekend in Muonio is organized by Muonion Kiri, one week before the Norwegian and Swedish season openers, which take place in Beitostølen and Gällivare, respectively, from November 21 to 23. The World Cup will also kick off this year with three races in Ruka from November 28 to 30.

The 2026 Olympics will be held in Milan/Cortina from February 6 to 22.
